Eliza is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans which align with their abilities and goals. She applies a plethora of manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation techniques with clinical reasoning and enjoys keeping up with the latest evidence-based practice in order to optimise the effectiveness of her treatments.  With a background in multiple sports including running, football and triathlon, Eliza has had her fair share of injuries and understands the physical and psychological demands of rehabilitation. Her aim is to connect with patients and coach them through each stage of their recovery. She hopes to empower all her clients towards long term changes which will help improve their functional performance and quality of life. Following her studies, she began her career at Middlemore Hospital, working across the Orthopaedic wards and the Rehabilitation of Older Adults service. This experience gave her a strong foundation in post-operative care for total hip replacements (THR), total knee replacements (TKJ), and hip fractures and functional rehabilitation. She gained an insight into a more holistic care while supporting patients through complex recovery journeys. As a result of Jess’s time working in high-performance rehab, older people's health and her sporting background, she has found her interest in musculosketal physio. Jess also has a background in high-performance fencing – as an athlete, coach and referee - which has given her a unique understanding of movement, discipline, and return-to-sport principles. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients, creating individualised treatment plans that are meaningful, achievable and aligned with their personal goals. Jess is bilingual and she speaks fluent Hungarian. Outside of work, Jess enjoys walking and hiking, staying active, and exploring new places. She recently spent time solo-travelling through the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia – where she volunteered at an Elephant Refugee centre - and loves discovering good food, culture, people and scenery along the way.</image:caption>
